The StratOp experience is 3 phases. It brings the right people together to work through up to 27 conversations and tools. Based on the size of the organization, this may include founders, senior leadership, board members, or team leaders.
It is not uncommon for larger organizations to begin with senior leadership and then opt in for additional experiences to ensure the plan is fully engaged throughout the company. People help build what they help create. StratOp is designed to maximize the effectiveness of every meeting while also working to create a broad base of support as the strategic plan takes shape.
Common Questions about StratOp
- StratOp consist of 3 phases, that you would be guided through.
- PHASE 1: Preparation and Pre-work. This includes working closely with the person appointed the leader of the experience, collaborating on the agenda, and one on one interviews with ever team member who will be apart of the StratOp.
- PHASE 2: The experience can be customized for 3 full days or 6 half days based on what works best for your company.
- PHASE 3: Follow-up that includes training on how to use a digital platform to track progress, a private session with Senior Leadership to talk about structure, along with a 2 month and 10 month check-in to ensure the plan is fully being leveraged.
- Given the collaborative nature our StratOp experience is only available in-person, where we come to you.
While not inexpensive, the feedback is 100% consistent that it’s worth the investment. - The StratOp (Strategy + Operations) process was created by Tom Paterson. Peter Drucker called Tom the greatest business consultant in the world. Tom was Walt and Roy Disney’s personal consultant, helping them take their dreams and turning them into realities, and along the way throwing in a few ideas of his own like Space Mountain. The United States government sent Tom to open up trade negotiations with China. During his life Tom patented the pin technology for the ATM. StratOp has a rich legacy that continues today.
